Executive Management

Michael James – Founder and Creative Art Director

In 1998, Mike fulfilled a dream and founded The DesignPond marketing and graphic design firm. He has grown the company by building strong client relationships based on great customer service, creative designs, quality of workmanship, and special attention to clients' needs. Every job is important to him no matter how big or small. Many of his designs have won awards from “Best in” awards for brochures, logos, booths, and business cards to LACP Inspire and Vision awards to Association of Government Accountants (AGA) Certificate of Excellence in Accountability Reporting (CEAR) awards for annual reports. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Commercial Art from the University of Maryland and Associate of Arts degrees in Advertising Design and Illustration, Mike brings over 20 years of industry experience to The DesignPond. Before embarking on a career in graphic and commercial art, Mike was a true artist on paper. As a youth, Mike entered and won many awards for his pencil and paint drawings at local, state, and national competitions. Outside of the office, Mike enjoys his passion for volleyball and tennis. Mike has won more than 100 volleyball leagues and tournaments over the years.

Sheri Beauregard – Director of Business Development

Sheri brings over 19 years of experience from the IT, business, and marketing industries to The DesignPond. She has two Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Management and Computer Science from the University of Maryland. She worked years in IT development and quality assurance, working closely with sales, marketing, client services, vendors, and clients. Just prior to joining The DesignPond, she managed a multimillion dollar contract for an IT consulting company to provide application development, training, technical writing, and integration services for the Department of Justice. Sheri’s outgoing personality provides a very personal touch to service. Her hands-on approach and attention to detail helps our clients achieve a quality product that meets their goals. Her commitment and dedication help ensure projects are done right and on time. Outside of the office, Sheri also enjoys the sport of volleyball as well as spending time with family and friends.
